The comments are more definitive than his September 18 update, when SyncError said he had stopped writing new code but could still address QA issues for features already in testing. He returned to the project on August 31 for a limited period to finish version 1.31, which removes microtransactions and unlocks most vanity content. No replacement developer or release date has been announced, and SyncError has not confirmed whether version 1.31 will be the final Quake Champions update.
