Bloodrun receives major September update with rebuilt UI and expanded
Bloodrun has received a major September update. BUILD 2026-09-05 introduces a completely rebuilt interface alongside major changes to bots, team modes, hit feedback, mouse input, audio and graphics. The new version can be downloaded from Google Drive or Yandex Disk.
Main changes:
Two arenas were also updated. On Toxic Waste, the geometry around the Heavy Armor jump pad was adjusted to make the plasma trick easier, several ammo pickups were moved and out-of-bounds totem placement was made more difficult. On Aero A, the ladder was replaced with a jump pad, several visual details were cleaned up and ambient wind sounds were added.
The build is currently running on RESP MOSCOW 1, RESP MOSCOW 2 and RESP MOSCOW 3. Due to the size of the update, the developers expect players to encounter bugs and unfinished elements and are asking for feedback in the official announcement comments.

Main changes:- Rebuilt interface – settings, match setup, gladiators, bots, the server browser and demos now have dedicated screens. Each setting explains its function and displays the related cvar. Menus open over an active match without interrupting play.
- Expanded bots – six difficulty levels are available, with support for all twelve gladiators and their abilities. Bots can use Wall Jump, Double Jump, Dash and Crouch Slide, choose weapons based on distance, follow item priorities and react to attacks from behind. Ultra Nightmare bots can also hear shots and footsteps when bot hearing is enabled.
- New team modes – TDM is now divided into 2v2 and 4v4 variants. Team sizes are enforced by the server, item pickup rules are consistent across modes, and matches can end through either Frag Limit or Final Frag.
- More responsive combat – hit prediction for Machinegun, Shotgun, Lightning Gun and Railgun is enabled by default. A new marker shows when predicted feedback was incorrect, while server extrapolation on stairs has also been fixed.
- Mouse and zoom changes – zoom sensitivity is now consistent across 4:3, 16:9 and 21:9 aspect ratios. New sensitivity modes and a separate multiplier were added, while sensitivity now returns smoothly during the zoom-out animation.
- Audio and visual options – Hit Sound and Kill Beep now have separate channels and volume settings. Multiple item pickups in the same frame no longer cancel each other's sounds. Ally, enemy and corpse outlines can be configured separately, while enemy Railgun and Lightning Gun effects have their own settings.
Two arenas were also updated. On Toxic Waste, the geometry around the Heavy Armor jump pad was adjusted to make the plasma trick easier, several ammo pickups were moved and out-of-bounds totem placement was made more difficult.
