For the first time in eight years, Quake Champions players won’t receive a QuakeCon-themed weapon skin for logging into the game during the annual event.

Since 2017, id Software had released a unique skin each year tied to a specific weapon, celebrating the festival with exclusive cosmetics:


With three weapons still lacking QuakeCon skins — the starting Machinegun, Shotgun and Nailgun — many expected the tradition to continue in 2025. However, no such announcement or reward has been made this year.
