As the heat of July rolls on, the Quake scene continues to deliver action-packed tournaments, surprise results, and some promising teases for QuakeCon. Here's your recap of the most important news from the past week.
- Second Round of 250 FPS League Season 3 Complete
The second round of the ongoing 250 FPS League Season 3 wrapped up this week, with several high-stakes matchups. RAISY edged out Spart1e but fell to ash, while veterans like pavel, AGENT and cYpheR secured confident wins. The undefeated dazator continues to dominate the leaderboard, adding another big victory by defeating k1llsen.
- ash wins EGB Cup #10
In the tenth weekly EGB Cup, ash came out on top after a thrilling grand final against AGENT. Despite losing the winners’ final 0:2 to AGENT, ash came back strong and clinched the title with a 3:2 reverse sweep. This marks ash’s third EGB Cup win — tied with pavel and AGENT.
- baSe ends Keltz's winning streak at Estoty #159
