id Software has announced a free November update for DOOM: The Dark Ages – Revelations, adding an endless single-player Slaughter Mode. The mode was revealed during the latest Slayers Club Live with game director Hugo Martin.

In Slaughter Mode, players will fight increasingly difficult waves of demons across multiple arenas, earn cosmetic rewards and chase personal bests based on both score and the round reached. id Software has not announced an exact release date yet.

Revelations, the first campaign expansion for DOOM: The Dark Ages, was released on July 7 with new levels, demons, the Chain Spear and additional Ripatorium content.
