Xonotic Defrag World Championship 2025 Announced
The Xonotic Defrag World Championship 2025 has been officially announced on the Xonotic forums. The annual Defrag competition returns once again, inviting players from around the world to test their movement skills in the CTS (Complete the Stage) mode using the XDF physics set.
As in previous years, XDWC is open to everyone — no registration or qualification is required. Simply join one of the official servers, set a time on the active map and your result will automatically count toward the standings. The event is hosted and managed by long-time community organizers Des, Mirio, morosophos, MxCrab and sinety.
The scoring system remains unchanged from previous editions:
The player with the highest total score after all rounds will be crowned the 2025 champion. To ensure fair play, all times must be set on official XDWC servers — local runs are not accepted. Weapon projectiles are allowed only within the same run, and any interference with another player’s run makes the attempt invalid.

A recommended place to train is the public server “exe.pub | Relaxed Running | CTS/XDF”, which runs the same physics and maintains public rankings on xdf.gg.
The prize pool, sponsored by 🇺🇸 Kool-Aid, is set at:
