Quake Champions MediaMarkt Tournament #2 announced
The official MediaMarkt VK page announced a new Quake Champions MediaMarkt LAN Tournament.
Unlike their first tournament, this time the event will take place in two major Russian cities at the same time -- Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. To participate, players should register (for free) on official website by 08:00 UTC, 31 Mar 2018, then confirm their participation at 07:00 UTC on the tournament's day. Matches are anticipated to start at 08:00 UTC according to MediaMarkt's gamespace.
Players from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg will be placed in the same Double Elimination Bracket, along with the special guests from Virtus.pro -- av3k and cYpheR. av3k is going to play the tournament from Moscow, while his teammate cYpheR will play from Saint-Petersburg. All matches will be officially streamed on
Polosatiy live channel.
Just like last time, the winner will receive a total of 150,000 RUB (~ 2,600 USD), half of it will be paid as a bonus on the player's MediaMarkt Club loyalty card. Total prize pool of the tournament is 300,000 RUB.
The Moscow tournament will be held in the Aviapark Shopping Center at the MediaMarkt store, located at 4, Khodynsky Boulevard, Moscow, 3rd floor, the location for Saint-Petersburg tournament is the MEGA Dybenko Shopping centerat the MediaMarkt store, located at 1, 12-km marker, Murmanskoe Shosse, Saint-Petersburg.
