The story picks up after the events of the official expansion Call of the Machine. The player character — trapped in the Void, a space beyond time — is contacted by an ancient entity identifying itself as a Vadrigar, a god-like being from Quake lore. The entity offers a bargain: eliminate a new Strogg army composed of corrupted monsters and fallen gods, in exchange for a chance to return to reality.

Set in a newly conceived dimension where maps and enemies from both Quake titles converge, the mod features:
  • A 5-map campaign combining new and familiar environments;
  • 12 original hybrid Strogg monsters, 11 prototypes, and 2 final bosses;
  • Full integration of classic Quake I enemies, adapted for the Quake II Remastered engine;
  • Compatibility with the official remaster, with no additional tools required;
  • Open-source code and FGD tools for community development.

The modification is currently in active development, with no announced release date. It is being created by a small team of developers: 00_Zombie_00, Mr.Raton and Drugod. Project updates and previews are regularly published on ModDB.
