The Frag-o-Matic 18.0 EGYPT will take place from on February 5-7, 2016, in Wieze, Belgium. Greth, the Quakelive admin for the event, posted a reminder on ESReality about the sign-ups. There are about 300 slots remaining.

Also, he provided information about the Quakelive tournaments (duel, and potentially TDM), the possibility of renting machines, as well as a potential online tournament for January, 2016.

 
Information
  • Prizepool will be similar as before, around 2000 EUR in total with a large cash element.
  • It will be casted live by Greth and Gilanguar.
  • Map pool and all that are still up for discussion. Only Elder is very much an option.
  • Rentals can be discussed -- although this is not an official service at Frag-o-Matic, Greth willing to set something up.
  • Similar for travel expenses, Greth can't promise anything, but can organize something on a case by case basis.
  • 1v1 double elimination is guaranteed. TDM was a bit of a bust during the last event, but enough people are confirmed for TDM then there will be a competition, with a small prize pool.

If everything goes well, I'll have a little FoM 'prequel' online tourney for January. But that's also something that'll depend on who I can scramble together to help me out - as I'm stretched thin between project at the moment. Online prizes would include tickets and expenses covered by FoM and maybe something more - but that's still very much up in the air.
